Professor David Low

Dean – Asia Pacific College of Business and Law

Professor David Low is the Dean of the Asia Pacific College of Business and Law at CDU. Previously he was the Dean of the College of Business, Law and Governance at James Cook University until June 2018.

David holds a Doctorate in Marketing and Management, and is a Graduate Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors as well as a CPA. He has a wide variety of both industry and academic management and boardroom experience.

Prior to commencing at JCU David was Head of School for the School of Marketing at the University of Western Sydney a position he held for 5 years.

David has also held a number of directorships in Sydney including Chair of the Riverside Theatres Advisory board and President of the Western Sydney Business Connection – both are organizations operating in Western Sydney both organizations were part of the business community served by UWS. 

David’s research interests include Social Marketing; Business Sustainability; Marketing Ethics, Market Orientation, Firm Performance, E-Marketing; Innovation, SME’s and the use of technology in business value chains.
